Besi Group, a world leader in the production of semiconductor assembly equipment, has presented SMC Automation Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SMC) with the esteemed “Supplier Excellence Award 2024” in addition to a Certificate of Appreciation. This award is given to suppliers who stand out from the competition in terms of overall performance, quality, flexibility, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer care.
The award underscores the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of every department within SMC. It was presented during Besi’s Annual Supplier Day event on October 17, 2024, which also highlighted key points, including a strong focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This aligns closely with SMC’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Project, which prioritizes ESG and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).

SMC and Kobelco Revolutionize Manufacturing at Automation World Vietnam 2024
SMC Corporation (Vietnam) and Kobelco Compressors Vietnam teamed up to showcase groundbreaking solutions at the recent Automation World Vietnam 2024. Held from September 25-27, 2024, at the WTC Expo International Exhibition Centre in Binh Duong New City. This event attracted industry leaders and experts from across the region.
Together, we presented a range of cutting-edge technologies aimed at streamlining production processes and improving overall operational performance. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about our advanced pneumatic systems and consult with our experts to find the perfect solutions for their unique needs.
